【曲目解說 / About the Work】
Commissioned by the “3 plus 1 Saxophone Quartet”, Formosa Rhapsody draws inspiration from the iconic Taiwanese folk song “Rainy Night Flower” (雨夜花). Built upon chromatic lines and mixed rhythmic feels, motifs from the song evolve throughout the ensemble, culminating in an elegant statement of the full theme near the end.
