☆ 本作品為國立臺灣交響樂團 2013 管弦樂編曲獲獎作品。

This composition was a prize-winning work in the 2013 Orchestral Arrangement Competition organized by the National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra (NTSO).

《交響客家序曲》，獻給每一位在土地上堅韌扎根、熱情待客的靈魂。

“Introduction of Hakka”—dedicated to every resilient soul rooted in this land, and to the warm hospitality that defines us.

序曲緩緩響起，是一章開啟民族記憶的奏鳴。它象徵著傳統香火的世代延續，是精神的蓄積，更是與遠道而來的老朋友一場跨越時空的溫馨敘舊——「客」字，代表著刻苦耐勞的客家民族，更意指台灣人刻在骨子裡、溫暖純樸的好客之情。

The overture unfolds like a grand chapter awakening a nation’s collective memory. It symbolizes the continuous passing of the ancestral torch, the accumulation of cultural spirit, and a heartwarming reunion with an old friend across time. The word “Hakka” (meaning “guests” or “visitors”) not only honors the hardworking Hakka people but also embodies the profound, innate hospitality of the Taiwanese people.

本序曲大膽將三首經典客家民謠，交織成一部結構嚴謹、氣勢宏大的管弦樂章：

第一部分（節慶與傳承）：以《客家本色》為主軸。在一段綿延、厚重的銅管導奏後，瞬間切入歡樂的節慶氣氛。其中特別運用了純打擊樂的獨奏段落，交織模擬出年節爆竹轟鳴的聲效，炸響出對土地的生命力。

This overture boldly weaves three classic Hakka folk songs into a rigorously structured and magnificent symphonic movement:

Part I (Celebration & Heritage): Anchored by “Hakka Character” (Hakka Ben Se). Following a sustained, powerful brass introduction, the piece erupts into a joyful festive atmosphere. Notably, a featured percussion-only interlude meticulously simulates the crackle and roar of Lunar New Year firecrackers, bursting with the vibrant vitality of life.

第二部分（悸動與思念）：以《十八姑娘一朵花》為核心。弦樂與木管溫柔交織，細膩闡述著一段嬌羞的兒女私情，以及內心最深處、揪心而溫柔的悸動。

Part II (Flutter & Longing): Centered around “A Eighteen-Year-Old Girl is Like a Flower” (Sip-pat Gu-niang It Doa Fa). The strings and woodwinds intertwine tenderly, delicately portraying a blushing, innocent romance and the deeply moving flutters of the heart.

第三部分（終曲與永恆）：以經典的《天公落水》帶入。音樂轉為一系列俏皮可愛、活潑動人的現代樂章。曲終之際，全編制管弦樂團以熱鬧非凡、排山倒海的磅礡氣勢，將情感推向最高潮，直到永恆。

Part III (Finale & Eternity): Driven by the timeless melody of “Rain from the Sky” (Thien-khung Lok-sui). The music shifts into a series of playful, lively, and captivating modern movements. As the piece draws to a close, the full orchestra unleashes a festive, thunderous, and breathtakingly majestic momentum, elevating the emotion to its peak—unto eternity.
